1. Crime / Detective
   Content focused on crime as a connotative element, on individual or collective detection action aimed at solving cases or on the representation of organized crime, also through the use of action scenes and elements of narrative tension (ex. Rocco Schiavone, Blocco 181)
2. Period
   Content including the reconstruction of particular events, historical phases or characters from the past (even recent), featuring period settings and/or costume scenes (ex. Esterno Notte, Django)
3. Family
   Content focused on the daily events of one or more families and their interpersonal, generational and neighborhood relationships (ex. A casa tutti bene – the series, Buongiorno, mamma!)
4. Mistery
   Content with elements of investigative and detective stories sometimes mixed with comedy, romantic or social tones (ex. delitti del BarLume, Imma Tataranni – sostituto procuratore)
5. Teen & Coming of Age
   Content that has the world of youth as its protagonist together with related issues of sentimental nature, of conflict/marginality, also expressed in the form of coming-of-age (ex. Mare Fuori, Prisma)
6. Professional
   Content that develops within professional organizations or institutions with the aim of staging human and working relationships that revolve around these universes (medicine, school, other professions) (ex. Call My Agent, Mina Settembre).
7. Sitcom & Sketch
   Content focused on the search for comedy (also in the form of sketch comedy). Aalthough not necessarily, it often presents episodes with a shorter format and makes use of a repetitive narrative mechanism, the accumulation of autonomous episodes, and the use of one or a few setting (ex. Sono Lillo, ľipi da cíocieía)
8. Soap
   Content characterized by an extended and narratively “open” format and daily programming, describing family and love affairs within a constant and recurring setting (ex. Un posto al sole, Il paradiso delle signore)
9. Biopic
   Content focused on the story of the life of a famous person in history (politics, religion, entertainment, sport, etc.) (ex. Il nostro generale, Tina Anselmi – una vita per la  democrazia)
10. Supernatural
    Content focused on the prevalence of the supernatural or science fiction as a founding element of the narrative mechanism and the characterization of the characters, which insists on the construction of a universe disconnected from the codes of reality, even in a dystopian key (ex. Christian, Ipersonnia)
11. Romance
    Content  featuring the centrality of a love theme and romantic relationships between the characters (ex. Filumena Marturano, Per lanciarsi dalle stelle)
