Generalist TV production model*
Compared with the past season, outsourced production is growing. In the in/outsourced ratio, in-house productions prevail with 53% of titles and 67% of hours, more limited compared to the previous season.

Titles: compared to the 21/22 season, outsourced titles grow by 34%, while insourced drop by -12%
Overall growth is +5%.
Hours: the outsourced hourly volume grows by +20%, while insourced drops by -2%.
Overall growth marks +4%.

Multi-Channel production model
Outsourced productions still lead the in/outsourced ratio. The seasonal growth is mainly due to in-house productions.

Increase:
Titles: -10% decrease interseasonal variation of the titles (-10% outsourced; -11% insourced).
Hours: +2%increase of the hours (insourced +15%; outsourced:-8%).

  • 100% indie:
    Cielo, Crime+Investigations, Food Network, Nove, HGTV, History Channel, La7d, Rai4, SkyUno, Motor Trend, Tv8, MTV, RealTime, Sky Nature, La5; Iris
  • Mixed:
    Mainly outsourced productions: Sky Documentaries (92%), Dmax (87%), SkyArte (89%), Rai5 (66%)
  • In house:
    Mainly insourced productions: Focus (62%), TV2000 (72%), RaiStoria (72%)

The streaming model favors independent productions. The percentage increase compared to the 2021-2022 season is +5% hours and +22% titles

The hourly volume of generalist TV (2021-2022 interseasonal variation)
Entertainment on generalist networks is growing, bringing the hourly volume of first-run entertainment more in line with the 2020/2021 season, thanks to an increase of +14% compared to last year.
