Between seasons, the original fiction prime time offer of Rai, Sky, and Mediaset has increased.

Rai is the only operator that produces original fiction also for non-primetime programming: the daily serial Il Paradiso delle Signore, Rai Gulp’s children’s series (down from last season).

Compared to last season, Italian original primetime evenings are clearly growing: +35 and 24% increase.
All three operators of linear TV increase the number of primetime domestic fiction.

Rai offers more than two thirds of the primetime evenings of original Italian fiction aired in the season, although its percentage share drops compared with 72% of last season.

Interseasonal variation

All three main channels of the public broadcaster contribute to the increase in Rai evenings’ offer: Raiuno, 103 evenings (+11); Raidue, 18 evenings (+6); Raitre, 3 evenings (+3).
