{"id":3588,"date":"2021-03-02T16:07:50","date_gmt":"2021-03-02T15:07:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ricerche.apaonline.it\/?p=3588"},"modified":"2021-03-02T16:09:18","modified_gmt":"2021-03-02T15:09:18","slug":"filming-italy-los-angeles-unveils-first-news-of-its-2021-digital-edition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ricerche.apaonline.it\/en\/news\/filming-italy-los-angeles-unveils-first-news-of-its-2021-digital-edition\/","title":{"rendered":"Filming Italy \u2013 Los Angeles unveils first news of its 2021 digital edition"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The sixth edition of&nbsp;<strong>Filming Italy \u2013 Los Angeles<\/strong>, presented with the Italian Cultural Institute in Los Angeles, will take place&nbsp;<strong>from March 18th to 21st 2021<\/strong>&nbsp;in Los Angeles with 90% streaming, in collaboration with&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.apaonline.it\/\"><strong>APA (Associazione Produttori Audiovisivi)<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;and under the auspices of the Italian Embassy in Washington and the Consulate General of Italy in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the Festival will be streamed<strong>&nbsp;more than 50 Italian titles<\/strong>, from movies to TV series and documentaries.&nbsp;<strong>Claudia Gerini and Harvey Keitel<\/strong>&nbsp;will be Honorary Presidents of the Festival that will present 25 masterclasses. The first two have been unveiled, one with<strong>&nbsp;Oliver Stone<\/strong>&nbsp;and the other with&nbsp;<strong>Tiziano Ferro<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI am very happy to be able to announce that this edition of Filming Italy \u2013 Los Angeles will take place, despite all the problems related to this period. Of course, we had to adapt to the extraordinary situation we are experiencing, rescheduling the festival in a digital format,\u201d emphasizes&nbsp;<strong>Tiziana Rocca<\/strong>, who is also the Festival\u2019s Artistic Director. \u201cI wanted this edition to focus on some social issues that I believe are particularly urgent and necessary around the world, without distinction. We\u2019ll be tackling themes such as human rights and equal opportunities, with a focus on the enhancement of women in the world of work, especially in the world of cinema, as well as the environmental problems that are afflicting the planet and threatening the very future of young people.
